Bill Duke is privileged to serve as Pastor at First Baptist since July 2005. His example for ministry is Barnabas. He strives to have a Ministry of Encouragement to everyone.
Bill grew up in Fort Meade, Florida with his parents and three younger sisters. He is a graduate of Florida Southern College (B.A.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div. and Th. M.) , and Union Theological Seminary (D. Min.).
In addition to serving churches in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia, Bill has served as a missionary in Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
Bill is married to Carol. They have two adult sons – Louis and Will.
Rev. Laura Rice Primm — Minister of Music & Worship
Laura Rice Primm came to FBC Reidsville on December 1, 2015 as the Minister of Music & Worship. A 1999 graduate of Elon University, Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance and a minor in Business Administration. She began serving God through music while a young child, singing in numerous choirs, going on mission trips, and, while in high school, working as a substitute pianist for several local churches. She directed her first church choir while still in college and has been working continuously as a choir director ever since. Laura was the Minister of Music at FBC of Mebane from 2003-2013 and was ordained as a Minister during this time. From 2013- 2015 she served as the Minister of Music and Children at FBC of Elon.
Laura’s husband, Trey Primm, works as a Commercial Truck Tire Sales Manager. They have three children; Debbie-Claire, Mark and Danny, and they spend most of their free time playing outdoor sports & fishing.
Vanessa Lee — Office Manager

Vanessa started at First Baptist in November of 2003. As Administrative Assistant she is blessed to serve with the staff and members of First Baptist. Vanessa also volunteers at Rolling Ridge Riding Academy, which provides horseback therapy for physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged children. Vanessa is a native of Rockingham County. She is married to Timothy, celebrating over twenty-five years of marriage. They have one son together, Micah. He and his wife, Sarah, have a baby girl, Zoey Grace, who is Gammy’s little doll baby. Vanessa also has a stepdaughter, Angela, and she and her husband, Jonathon, have a son, Cayden, who is Gammy’s little darling.
